What a fun, packed Halloween we had! It was even more exciting because this was the first year that Tristan really understood what was happening. The past few weeks have been spent talking about costumes, pumpkins, trick-or-treating, etc. and reading Halloween books. SO much fun!
Since Tristan loves Jake and the Neverland Pirate band, we decided to dress both him and Talia as pirates. In fact, the whole family went as pirates. Brian and I have a tradition to match our costumes each year. Yes, we are THAT couple :)
Tristan and his "Potato Head" pumpkin. Also love the bed head :)
Pumpkin breakfast with pumpkin pancakes shaped into a pumpkin, drinking out of his pumpkin cup. Yes, I am an elementary school teacher :)
Tristan & Talia in Outfit #1 before going out for our morning walk.
Everyone had to have a turn on the slide...yes, even the dogs :)
After the park, we walked a few miles to a little coffee shop for lunch. Tristan did great riding his bike the whole way! We got quite a few smiles/laughs from passerby cars as they were pretty shocked to see Spiderman cruise by on his bike :)
Attempts #32 & 54 to get both kiddos to look at camera while smiling. Oh well.
All the kiddos at the Goodys house before we went trick-or-treating!
The pirates out collecting candy. I wish I would have gotten a full-body shot of Brian as a pirate (sans coat) - it was SO believable!!
Us girls came back to the house before the boys and warmed up by the fire. We weren't prepared for how cold it would be that night!
What a fun Halloween!!
