Deja vu

It seems like just yesterday that Erin and I were pregnant at the same time, both expecting boys and only two weeks apart! And now, deja vu, here we are two years later, both pregnant and only a week apart! Here are some pics of us at Lawrence's Halloween party - Round 2!

Resort at the Mountain

Last weekend we had the privilege of going up to a friend's vacation house at the Resort at the Mountain, along with Aunt Michelle, Uncle Ryan, cousins Emma & Eli and the Albert family. We had never been before, but now love it! Their house is amazing and had so much room for all of us and all of our kiddos. And we didn't realize just how close it is to our house - only about 45 minutes, since it's at the base of Mt. Hood. Definitely not a dull moment up there!
Again, sorry for the blurriness of the photos. But you get the idea of how much fun this was for the kids, too - enough space to chase each other on whatever vehicle they could find!

Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend, we got to take an early trip to the Pumpkin Patch with Grama, Papa, Uncle T, Aunt Bridg and Lincoln. Love these photo opps with the fam!
Different pumpkin patch trip - these are pics from when I took the first graders on our annual trip to Fir Point Farms, but still had to include them since we also had special visitors join us - Jenny & Carter! Jenny is enjoying the last of her maternity time with her little man and will be back with us in late November!

Spoon fed

Well, we have another milestone that just proves that T is becoming more and more of a "big boy"! Not sure if I should put a happy face or a sad face. Either way, he is now using a spoon to feed himself and actually does a pretty good job. He has been "using" one for awhile, but it usually resulted in more food on the floor, highchair and all over his clothes rather than in his mouth. Now he insists on doing it himself and has pretty much mastered it!

12 weeks!

Well, we've made it. I am officially at the 12 week point. This has definitely been a challenge to get here! This experience so far has been a little harder than when I was pregnant with Tristan. First of all, I don't get to go home and relax after work as I did the first time - now I have an active toddler at home! Secondly, since I'm back in first grade (with 24 students instead of 10 Pre-Kers!!), the workload is definitely a lot more. This has been a crazy back to school/first trimester experience, but I am glad that conferences will be over soon and I may finally have a little bit of a break. We'll see though :) Oops - no pics of the "bump" yet, as there isn't much of one yet. But I know there will be plenty soon!
