Happy Thanksgiving!

We made our annual trip to my parents' house for Thanksgiving this past weekend. Always a good time at Grama & Papa's house!
Okay, so a little explaining needs to go along with these pictures :) In our rushed effort to make it up to my parents' house Wednesday night after work, we completely forgot T's bag with all his clothes in it!!! All we had were his PJs that he wore up to their house that night - oops! Luckily, Trav & Bridg didn't leave until Thursday morning, so we were able to have them go up to our house to grab the bag and bring it up (and a few other things we also decided to have them get, too). In the meantime, poor T had to wear this dress that my mom has been saving for a few years for a future girl grandchild. Guess it got some wear a little early!
The boys could do this all day every day!

It's a...

GIRL!!!! We have been blessed with a girl and are SO excited!! Here are some pics of how we shared the news with family and friends. Since T got to help announce that we were expecting, we thought it would be fun for him to also announce that he will be having a little baby sister. YEA!!

Head, shoulders, knees and toes

One of our favorite things to do is to point out all the parts of our body that we know. I finally captured it on video this time, although he seems a little more interested in the sunblock that I am trying to distract him away from :)

18 months & 18 weeks

This week marks a milestone for both T and I. Tristan is officially 18 months old and I am 18 weeks along. Can't believe how big my boy is getting! He is SO much fun right now with all the new words he tries to say along with playing with the plethora of toys he has (thanks to cousins Lincoln & Eli!!). He is such a joy!!
Sunday coffee & breakfast date with our little man!

LOVE this video of what happens when you give a toddler some frosting while baking cookies. Lesson learned... :)

Another Seattle weekend getaway

This weekend, we decided to follow Trav & Bridg up to Seattle since Bridgit had a class she was taking up there all weekend. It turned into a fun weekend for all of us with Grama & Papa!

16 weeks

SOOO happy to be past the first trimester and past all the beginning of the year stuff!!! Now that the craziness is over, I feel like I finally have a little bit of a normal workload. Also, Brian recently changed careers and is now in training in his new sales job. He really loves it, although it means longer hours for T and I to be away from home (since we still carpool each day). I'm at work 10 hours and T is at daycare for 9 1/2. Breaks my heart that he is there that long, but I'm looking forward to a few months from now when training is over and we don't have such long hours away from each other and home. Talk about a lot of changes right now!!
Not much of a bump yet, but showing a little!

Happy Halloween!!

Last weekend, we went to Lawrence's (maybe 8th annual??) Halloween fiesta. Even though it was a mostly adult party Tristan and Logan were still able to come and celebrate. It was definitely a different experience this time since I was mostly chasing a toddler around while enjoying either water or some sort of sparkling orange or apple juice. But it was fun to see everyone's creative outfits and laughing at the intense games of tippy cup!
My little boy scout :)
Then last night, we went trick-or-treating with Uncle T, Aunt Bridg and cousin Lincoln around their neighborhood. T had so much fun following his cousin up to the houses and pounding on the doors until someone brought them candy :)
