Portland trip - Wine tasting, Baby James & Lo's shower!

This past weekend, we once again made the trip to Portland for a packed, packed weekend. But anything else would be boring, right?

This time, we decided to stay with Traci and Dave at their new house since most of our activities were on the westside and since they all involved friend activities that both Trac and I went to.
Another reason to love Portland in the fall... This was snapped right around the corner from Trac & Dave's.

After getting my hair did (finally!) on Saturday, Trac and I met up with the girls for Lyndsey's sport-themed wine tasting birthday trip. Out of all the times I've been wine tasting, I've never been wine tasting in the fall before and can't believe what I've been missing! It was absolutely spectacular! Brian, meanwhile, stayed at the Klockes with Tristan and Talia. One of his first Daddy Duties with both kiddos. It probably would have gone smoothly, had it not also involved an all-day football event with a group of guys who were shouting at the TV all day. Talia was not into men screaming during her nap time! And I'm pretty sure the guys-without-kids realized even more that children are not in their future :)

I mean,...can you say amazing?? You'd think I spent all my time just taking pictures of the scenery. But, don't worry, I got in my fair share of wine, too :)

Proof that there was plenty of tasting. And the one below shows what happens to a group of 30-somethings when the wine is free-flowing.

Then the next day, we went over to the Corrados to meet baby James. How sweet and adorable he is! We were also pretty excited to see that he was sporting Tristan's old outfit and blanket. From the amount of clothes we were able to pass along to them, I'm pretty sure they won't have enough days to wear all the outfits, just like us!

And then later that night, we went over to Ali's for Laura's baby shower. I also can't wait to meet her sweet little girl in the next few weeks!

It's been so much fun to watch these little ones grow up together in the past couple of years. I look forward to many more years ahead!
The girls having tea at their table!

Beautiful Lo!!! She looked so great, just weeks before her due date!

Another pic of all the kiddos together. So crazy how many we've had of these in the past 2 1/2 years on this couch...and hopefully many more as the years go on!

What a great weekend with wonderful friends!!
