Election Day!

Yesterday we celebrated Election Day in the George household by wearing our red, white and blue and by being glued to the election results all evening. I've considered myself a somewhat political person who tries to stay abreast of the important local and national policies. Even though I've always been interested and knowledgable about certain laws/bills/policies for as far back as I can remember (a special thank you to my fourth grade teacher who made running for grade school office fun!), I really got into it when Kerry was running against Bush in '04 and surprisingly lost. After that, I made sure to keep in-the-know about certain things happening and especially excited when the presidential election happens every four years. I'm one of those people who think of it like the Super Bowl. I'm a political nerd, I know.

Anyhoo, I also got our little ones into this year, whether they realized it or not. I snapped a cute pic of them wearing their red, white and blue!
